James Braithwaite

Illustration, Typography, Motion, Directing

There is never a dull moment with James Braithwaite. Drawing to the beat of his own drum, James injects his characters with a memorable, offbeat personality that always comes unexpectedly. In between creating campaigns for coffee company Kenco, winning an Emmy Award for his short film “I Met The Walrus” and making documentaries for ESPN, James’ art will make your mouth smile and your brain thinks - all at once!

Since his animation success, James has worked on an abundance of projects; smearing ink wherever he goes, illustrating a book with Harper Collins, animating a short for Will Forte of SNL, and writing scripts for children’s shows, all injected with James’ cheeky sharp wit.

Agostino Iacurci

Painting, Mural, Digital art

Agostino Iacurci is an Italian multidisciplinary artist celebrated for his striking, synthetic forms and multilayered narratives.

“I’m interested in communicating a vision,” Agostino explains. “I think that once the artwork is out in the world, it’s like a living creature, and as a living creature, it is able to create connections.”

Agostino is renowned for his evocative, large-scale murals. However, the multiplicity of meaning innate to his art naturally lends itself to formal versatility, and he has expanded his language to embrace digital illustration, sculpture and painting.

From his 300 metre mural in the Saba School in Algeria to various collaborations with Apple, Agostino’s work is highly recognisable and brimming with interpretive possibility. Each artwork has a transformative effect on its environment and the viewer, and it is precisely this transformative energy that makes Agostino such an outstanding artist.

Fernando Chamarelli

Illustration, Painting, Graffiti

Artist Fernando Chamarelli is a true Brazilian homegrown.

Unlike most artists, his early years weren’t spent drawing but playing around rivers and waterfalls in the wild nature of central Brazil. Art came into his life relatively late, at the age of 14 when a friend gave him a comic book: he then started drawing cartoons and expanded to street art, tattoos and a graphic design degree at UNESP.

Through merging these very different backgrounds and the multicultural contrasts of his native Brazil, Fernando developed his signature style. His artworks present a fluid composition of geometric elements, organic forms and harmonic lines and his visual imagery connects symbols, legends, philosophies, religions and customs of ancient and modern civilisations.

Fernando’s diverse visual language enables the viewer to travel through time and establish connections between ancient and modern times, East and West, interior and exterior and, most importantly, between the material and the spiritual.

Hélène Builly

collage, illustration

Hélène Builly is a French mixed media artist based in Paris. Her artworks project a very sophisticated and elegant aesthetic, where compositions almost appear as realistic as photographs but without compromising the distinctiveness of the collage technique.

“Collage is first and foremost an irresistible desire to change the order of things, then a way of understanding the theatre of life. An image carries a whole story with it, and when it is inserted in a new context, it creates new meanings. However, the subconscious does not completely forget the original significance, and it creates new imaginary solutions. Chance is then a great source of creation in collage: it reminds how important it is to create with flexibility because if collage is a binding exercise, the constraint is weaker when the cut-out element is inserted in a new context; it somehow regains control of itself.”

Hélène collects in her Paris studio a vast selection of photographs from different époques and, depending on specific needs, she also shoots photos herself to achieve the composition she envisions.

Cao Yuxi

Immersive Art, Installation, New Media

Cao Yuxi is a new media artist whose body of work spans audiovisual installations, interactive art, immersive spatial design and coding. Originally from China, Cao graduated from the prestigious China Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing and the School of Visual Arts in New York, USA, where he currently resides.

From his monumental show in Shenzhen, where 41 buildings of the city’s skyline were used as a canvas, to the hypnotic Dimensional Sampling audiovisual series and its QR codes-inspired visuals, Cao’s work confronts human’s perception and challenges the viewer to reflect on the multifaceted aspects of modern life and digital age.

Cao’s work has been widely exhibited in museums and festivals in the US, China and Europe. He was featured in Apple’s Special Event presentation during the Worldwide Developers Conference 2020.

Elena Iv-Skaya

Photography

Elena Iv-Skaya is a Russian-born fashion photographer. Her work is an ode to beauty and colour. With her strong artistic vision, she takes us into a dashing world of saturated hues, high contrasts and bold feminine figures. “I am fascinated by beauty,” says Elena. “Beauty is often an unexpected result. You have to look for it, but not too much, otherwise it will slip away. You have to let it come to you like a wild animal that is hard to approach… it’s an endless quest.”

The incredibly rich and well-curated colour palette, combined with her graphic, almost essential compositions, turn her photographs into beautiful painting-like creations. “I would like people who look at my work to be surprised, astonished, to wonder why they like it or why they don’t… Leaving people indifferent is probably worse than anything”, admits Elena.

Ray Oranges

Illustration

Ray Oranges was born in Calabria, in south Italy, and studied Industrial Design in Florence, where he now resides.

His artworks are a crisp form of storytelling, described with carefully chosen details. This absence of clutter, enhanced by his skilful use of long shadows and explosions of light create a visceral response in the viewer.

According to Ray his use of negative space evokes his childhood in Calabria: “The Calabrian landscape is like an abstract canvas: strong sunlight inundates vast, empty spaces and projects dramatic shadows. This is where my love for geometry comes from.”

Ray’s art is deeply influenced by the art and architecture of the interwar period, reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility, individual artistic vision and innate elegance.

Miguel Angel Camprubí

Illustration, Character Design, Animation

Miguel is an exciting young illustrator and animator hailing from Spain. He graduated with a degree in design and one in illustration from Madrid’s Universidad Complutense and, after completing a working experience in product design and motion graphics in Amsterdam, Miguel realised that illustration was his true calling.

“I think no other creative outlet allows me as much freedom as illustration does,” admits Miguel. “It lets me explore and create as many different things as I want”.

Miguel has developed a quite distinctive world of characters, essential in their traits and reinterpreted through the lens of innocence and humour.

With few simple black lines or fully dressed in his signature bright and bold colour palette, Miguel’s characters channel a strong, cheeky personality, resulting in visually enticing snapshots of a cheerful and uplifting world, energised by a smart use of animation.

“Animating your own illustrations makes a big difference”, says Miguel. “As my artworks are quite simple, I think animation adds one more dimension, time, that makes them much more complex in terms of storytelling. The two languages work perfectly together, although illustration is the base”.

The fine balance between an essential and distinctive trait and the capability of representing surprising and engaging narratives is what makes Miguel’s work so fresh.

Alberto Casagrande

Illustration, Mixed-Media, Mural

Casagrande’s artistic journey is a vibrant tale of artistic exploration across design, illustration and typography.

Starting his career in Milan as a graphic designer, he delved into the world of communication where his love for typography blossomed. His debut font, Mazius Display, quickly gained global recognition, becoming a default font on Squarespace.

As he further honed his illustrative skills, he seamlessly blended influences from graphic design, typography, futurism, and constructivism. Often incorporating archive images into his artworks, he developed a style that exudes energy, playfulness, and surrealism. His natural inclination toward merging illustration and design led to an organic expansion of his artistic collaborations, which now encompasses a diverse range of projects including packaging, branding, publishing, advertising, and murals.

In 2024, the Society of Illustrators of New York further recognised his work by awarding him a gold and a silver medal in the “Institutional” and “Design” categories, confirming his status as one of the most talented and promising illustrators of the moment.
