For the annual sustainability festival Un Altro Parco in Città, Jonathan Calugi created a visual identity that balances immediacy and warmth, designed to engage both the city of Pistoia and its community.
Jonathan’s flowing lines and joyful compositions capture the spirit of the festival, translating themes of environmental awareness and collective green living into a visual language that feels both light-hearted and engaging. The artworks were brought to life through animation by Stefano Meazza, adding movement and energy to the campaign while reinforcing its optimistic message.
Calugi also intervened directly in the city, adding hand-drawn elements in situ onto posters throughout Pistoia. These spontaneous gestures gave the campaign a tactile, human touch, strengthening its connection to the urban environment and local community.
The illustrations were rolled out across all festival communications — from posters and street marketing to stage visuals and merchandise — creating a cohesive and recognisable identity that connected the event to the city and its community.
