Imagining Modern Masculinity: Ricardo Fumanal for Teresa Estapé
‘The 21st century is the century of essential jewellery: the jewellery of freedom,’ says Barcelona-based jewellery designer Teresa Estapé. ‘The masculine, the feminine, and how they combine is the personal decision of the wearer.’
Estapé‘s unisex designs and the exquisite art of Ricardo Fumanal met for a visual an exploration of modern masculinity for the Barcelona based new men’s collection key visuals.
The resulting images contain a dual crossover that blurs the line between illustration and photography, using a clever, tactile juxtaposition of Ricardo’s art and selected jewellery, and of masculine and feminine.
