Agostino Iacurci for D Young

For the restyling of La Repubblica’s D youngest sibling, D Young, Franco Franchi continued his collaboration with Agostino Iacurci, tasking him to depict how Gen Z is dealing with the current state of affairs.

Whether we are witnessing the formation of Generation Pandemic, as Time Magazine puts it, or if Gen Z is hell-bent on fighting back and defining a full-of-life new normal, there isn’t a general consensus and univocal interpretation of the recent events, and Agostino captured the complex and sometimes opposite moods of the times with a fresh and honest look.

The evocative cover conveys in its simplicity a variety of emotions that are not intentionally resolved, whilst the inner illustrations maintain a more stripped-down, graphic approach.
