Machas was contacted by TBWA to customize Bnl Group Bnp Paribas new fleet of electric cars.

The cars, emblazed with the company’s logo & values, are going to be used in various Italian cities to cater for all the transportation needs within the company in a visually creative and environment-friendly way.

Machas selected four different artists within the Machas Artist group and the Machas Artist Network who could bring the values of the company alive through their visual signature.

The client handpicked Machas’ Artist Leslie Clerc and her china illustrations, deeming her style as the most suitable to deliver the project.

Leslie expressed BNL’s green values by letting “the elements of the composition to grow organically, filling the surface of the car in a balanced proportion of white spaces, strokes and colors.”

She then “had to choose the colors of the artwork carefully as it had to be integrated with the green of the logo into a natural chromatic harmony; this is a very delicate part of the creative process because it must not overwhelm the identity of the brand but, on the contrary, enhance it.”

Leslie was delighted to be involved in the project: “I think it is very exciting for a bank like BNL to take on an active role into rising people’s ecological conscience.”
